I am going to start gathering data for the research project on parent's experiences ( see Nos.9 &10 for info ) next week from those who have already agreed to take part. If you haven't DO think about it. It's not something that has been done before and could be very valuable in effecting some badly needed, positive change and the more people we have taking part the more powerful it will be.
The influx of experiences from other parents that led to the idea has rather diverted me from the main story of 'Letters from the Frontline' which it would now be nice to get back to.
The relationship of diet and the gut to autism has been much debated. The management of these two factors has always been, and remains, the most crucial factor in minimising my son's autism. It has taken most of his sixteen years of life to get this fact acknowledged . So now I'm going to take a break from chronicling the grimmer side of what many of us have encountered to go away and write about my son's guts !!!!
Not much of an improvement is it ????????
Watch this space for 'Letters...No.14: Gut Reaction.'
